Today we took some time to visit the town centre to view the memorial of remembrance. We took in the beautiful display of respect and were able to offer our gratitude to some veterans. A touching moment as one of our learners shook hands with an ex serviceman, evoking the response “He will remember shaking a soldiers hand, but I will never forget shaking his hand”.
